The three leading christmas gift websites that showed most marked increase in the number of visitors are the Swarovski Crystals website, with 2.4 million visitors (an increase of 125% compared with April,) the Key Jewelers website with 973,000 visitors (an increase of 47%) and Tiffany and Co. with 812,000 visitors (a 15% increase.)
The month of May is traditionally a strong time of the year for jewelry and other gift items.聽 The year 2009 showed that consumers also frequented coupon sites considerably more, perhaps a sign of the pressures of the current economical situation.
